Western Tigers Football Club sent a stern warning over their ambitions in season six of the KFC Elite League after they trampled Buxton United 10-0 on the second match day at the Guyana Football Federation National Training Centre at Providence.

Ann’s Grove United also copped three points as they defeated Fruta Conquerors 3-0 on Tuesday evening.

After the first half, Western was up 3-0 with Andrew Murray Jr. (4th, 11th) and Trayon Bobb (15th) on the scoresheet.

It rained goals in the second half for Western Tigers as Buxton had no answer.

Randolph Wagner (53rd, 57th), Chai Williams (66th, 92nd), Anthony Abrams (77th) and Jermaine Beckles (83rd, 90th).

Meanwhile, Kevin Williams (37th), an own goal by Mark Carrega (59th) and Jaden Vangronigen (77th) lead Ann’s Grove to success under new coach Calvin ‘Flu’ Allen.

The League continues Thursday with the Guyana Police Force Football Club battling Den Amstell FC from 19:00h at the National Training Facility.
