Zion Hickerson, a promising nine-year-old Guyanese athlete, is set to embark on an intensive training regimen aimed at propelling him to international stardom.

With the backing of Hand-in-Hand and ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. (AMDI), Hickerson will attend the prestigious Atlético Madrid Football Camp in Washington later this month and the Little Mo International tennis training.

Initially, Hickerson hoped to attend the Arsenal Football Club camp, but it quickly became full, and alternate arrangments were made.

Hickerson has already displayed exceptional talent in various sports.

He clinched the U11 tennis title at Chatoyer’s Tennis International in St. Vincent and secured top positions in the Boys U10 Singles and Doubles at the Lease Operators Tennis Tournament in Trinidad.

His sporting prowess extends beyond tennis, as he is a member of Guyana’s international teams for tennis, squash, and table tennis.

Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Limited, Guyana’s longest-established and best-rated insurer, wished Hickerson all the best at the camps and hoped he would succeed further.

More so, AMDI’s support for Hickerson underscores its commitment to nurturing young talent. (Modified Press Release from Hand-in-Hand and  AMDI)
