A 37-year-old businessman was arrested on Thursday evening after he was found with 6.3 grams of cocaine.
Yancy Garraway was arrested during a cordon and search exercise at Bourda Market, Merriman’s Mall, North Road. Police said the exercise was conducted between 15:30 and 17:00 hrs at a known drugs block. Several other persons were stopped and searched, as well as several stalls in the area.
Garraway was also found with $206,200 local currency and US$5 in his pants pocket.
