Quincy Hooper, a 33-year-old security guard of Fyrish Road, Corentyne, Region Six (East Berbice- Corentyne), was Tuesday charged with the murder of Melissa Arokium and her son, Anthony.
Hooper appeared at the Albion Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. He was arrested on July 31.
The man was not required to plea and was remanded to prison. The case has been postponed to October 4, 2024.
The bodies of Melissa Arokium and her young son Anthony were found on August 23, 2023 with multiple chop wounds at their Mangrove Street, Rose Hall, Region Six house.
