Guyana Harpy Eagles have been boosted by the return of West Indies players Tevin Imlach, Kevin Sinclair and Shamar Joseph for Round Two of the West Indies Four-Day Championship.
The defending champions, fresh off victory against Barbados Pride in the opening round, are down to face the Combined Campuses and Colleges from Wednesday (February 5) at the National Stadium, Providence.
The return of the trio means left-arm spinner Antony Adams, fast bowler Isai Thorne and all-rounder Junior Sinclair will miss this upcoming round, the Guyana Cricket Board announced on Monday afternoon.
Wicketkeeper/batter Imlach will assume the role of captain, with stand-in skipper for the first round Kemol Savory named vice-captain.
Imlach and off-spinning all-rounder K. Sinclair recently featured for West Indies in the drawn two-match Test series against Pakistan, while fast bowler Joseph is making a return from injury after missing that series.
Left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie, who played against Pakistan, is unavailable for selection, as he is currently plying his trade for Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the ILT20.
