Vitz Cup Championship to experience significant growth- GMR&SC executive
The exciting Vitz Cup Championship, which made its debut on Sunday last at the opening round of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club’s Circuit Racing Championship, is expected to experience significant growth going forward.
That’s the prediction of executive member of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club Luis Kumar, who is the brainchild of the new group.
Last weekend at the South Dakota Circuit, 14 competitors took to the start line for the historic first staging of the Vitz Cup, and Kumar is predicting that number will grow to 25 for the last leg of the Circuit Racing Championship in November.
In an exclusive interview with News Room Sport, Kumar explained the genesis of the Vitz Cup and the interest it has generated among local motor-racers.
