According to a statement from the police this morning, the four men robbed the persons escaped on foot.

The police said, acting on information, they visited another house at ‘B’ Field, Sophia where the men allegedly escaped to, however, the men escaped in some bushes.

A search was carried out in the house and the articles were stolen from the persons at the party along with one (1) .32 Taurus pistol and one (1) matching round were found.

A woman is in police custody assisting with the investigations.

Nedd is calling on the relevant authorities to ensure that there is an increased in the police presence around the area as he is of the view that the characters who hang out there do so to observe the movements of persons traversing the area.

He also claimed that persons were unable to retrieve their stolen items when they visited the police station and therefore he is now mobilising the persons who were robbed so that they can formally report the matter to the police Office of professional Responsibility.
