The car which was allegedly used to transport prison escapees from the Camp Street Prisons was on Monday located in North Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
However, relatives of the owner of the car, Matthew Shivtahal are still praying for his safe return.
According to 22-year-old man’s relatives, he was transporting a family friend and her children when he was abducted in the vicinity of Camp Street on Sunday afternoon. The passenger related to the family that she was ordered out of the vehicle with her family at the corners of Camp and Hadfield Streets by four men armed with guns. This occurred during the fire at the prisons.
The four men for whom the Police have issued wanted bulletins are Stafrei Hopkenson Alexander of Laing Avenue, Georgetown, Sherwin Nero a/k Sherwin Moses c/d “catty” of Friendship Buxton, ECD & Lot 74 Dennis Street, Sophia, Uree Varswyke aka Malcolm Gordon and Mark Royden Durant aka Royden Williams C/D “Smallie”.
The Red 212 PKK 4103 was recovered by police on Monday.
According to relatives of the man, he was last seen wearing a pair of blue three-quarter flowered pants, a pink T-shirt, a blue and black hat and a pair of slippers.
