Two persons were taken into custody and are slated to appear at the Linden Magistrate’s Court on Monday after they were found to be in possession of a quantity of ammunition and cannabis.
Police reported that a 42-year-old logger of Alliance Road, Timehri, East Bank Demerara (E.B.D.) was found in possession of six live twelve gauge cartridges during a routine stop and search of a public transportation on Bamai Public Road, Linden, yesterday.
Another passenger, 21years, of First Street, Covent Garden, E.B.D. was found in possession of a quantity of cannabis packaged in small size zip-lock bags.
