After months of being put on hold, Marriott Hotel Guyana is moving to complete the construction of its Casino and Entertainment Complex.

AHI is advertising for expressions of interests from both regional and international markets, and will consult with Marriott Hotel International in selecting the lessee.

Bidders are expected to submit a conceptual design, including interior design, for the competition of construction, outfitting and operation of the complex as well as a five-year business plan including employment, training and financing considerations.

The 197-room Marriott hotel in Guyana was constructed at a cost of US$58 million.
