Responding to a question at his first press conference for the year, the President said he will not be renewing the contracts of Presidential Advisor on Security, Retired Brigadier Edward Collin; Presidential Advisor on Youth Empowerment, Aubrey Norton and Presidential Advisor on the Environment, Retired Rear Admiral, Gary Best.

However, he told reporters that “we have asked for them to accept executive functions, so yes we don’t need them in the role of advisors but we are likely to appoint them in the role of executive positions and that is being worked out.”

The President did not disclose the positions which are being considered.
