Two persons escaped serious injuries this morning when the car they were in crashed into a parked vehicle on the side of the road at Meten-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara.
News Room understands that the car – PTT 4049 – was heading in the direction of Parika, East Bank Demerara; the driver said he swayed from a dog, lost control of the car and crashed into the vehicle which was parked on the opposite side of the road.
The accident occurred just after 5am. The female passenger in the front seat along with the driver were escorted to the hospital by relatives who subsequently arrived at the scene.
