Safraz Khan kept his head down as he walked out of the holding cell at the Georgetown Magistrate's Court.

Safraz Khan, 37, the General Manager of a Sound System, appeared before Senior Magistrate, Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court Wednesday, charged with discharging his licensed firearm outside the Palm Court nightclub on Sunday, October 28.

Khan, of Austin Street, Campbellville, pleaded not guilty to the charge and was represented by Attorneys Glenn Hanoman and Everton Singh-Lammy.

Police Prosecutor, Warren Thornhill did not object to bail and so Khan was released on $50,000 bail; he was ordered to report to the Brickdam Police Station every Friday until the case is called again on November 28.

Khan is the brother of Imran Khan, who remains in police custody for the savage beating of a disabled man outside the very nightclub on the same day in question. Imran Khan is expected to be charged later this week.
