With a desire to end his career in motor-racing due to dwindling sponsorship, Kristian Jeffrey could now rethink that decision with Torginol Paints embracing the Guyanese speed ace.

Representatives of the brand, which comes under the Continental Group of Companies, handed over the sponsorship to Jeffrey on Wednesday (November 7) ahead of the final leg of the 2018 Caribbean Motor Racing Championship, which speeds off this weekend at the South Dakota Circuit.

Mohamed S. Ali, Corporate Secretary of the Continental Group of Companies, told the gathering the company is overwhelmed to join forces with a motor-racer of Jeffrey’s calibre.

“Kristian is an ace driver and Torginol is the top of the notch when it comes to paints, so ace with ace you have a winning team,” Ali posited.

The sponsorship covers Jeffrey’s participation in the Caribbean SR3 Radical Cup Series, and according to Ali, they have not fully committed to supporting Jeffrey on his overseas endeavours, given this is the embryotic stages of the partnership.

Ali added, “Everyone knows what are the expectations; Kristian is a winner and Torginol Paints is a winner and we will paint the entire race track with win.”

Jeffrey, the two-time CMRC Group 4 champion, in response expressed immense gratitude for the support, noting, “really happy to team up as they said it is the best paint in Guyana so hopefully I can help to market the product better.”

Jeffrey further expressed “he is going for win and the sponsorship has helped me acquire tires to do more testing.”  The final leg of the championship runs from November 10-11 at South Dakota.
