Guyana’s top Badminton players Narayan Ramdhani and Priyanna Ramdhani have both qualified for the Pan Am Games 2019 to be held in Lima, Peru, in July-August.
“Both players have been working very hard to keep their game level at a high standard and they both took time off from their studies for two weeks as they were selected by PANAM SPORTS to attend the Road to Lima 2019 High Level Training Camp in Aguascalientes, Mexico, April 8-23, 2019 in preparation for the Pan Am Games,” the Guyana Badminton Association said in a press statement.
This is the second Pan Am Games the Ramdhani siblings will be attending as they qualified and represented Guyana in 2015 in Toronto, Canada.
“After the camp they both have to write their Final Exams, but as athletes they have to balance their studies and training which they have mastered over the years. They have been doing well without extra lessons throughout the years,” the Association release further stated.
