An early morning accident at the De Kinderen Sideline Dam, West Coast Demerara (WCD) has left a 38-year-old sawmill operator, identified only as Sudesh, dead.
News Room understands that Sudesh of Meten-Meer-Zorg Reserve WCD was driving the tractor out from the back dam in De Kinderen at around 7:00hrs when he lost control and ended up inside a trench.
Police Headquarters revealed that Sudesh was pinned underneath the tractor for a while before a passerby discovered the accident.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Diagnostic Centre.
