Guyana on May 30 recorded two new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of known cases to 152.
The Ministry of Public Health also confirmed Guyana’s 12th COVID-19 death – 78-year-old John Damon, a former patient of the Palms Geriatric Home who died at the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Georgetown Public Hospital at around 00:40hrs on Saturday.
A total of 67 persons have recorded which means that there are 73 active COVID-19 cases in institutional isolation, including 24 in institutional quarantine and two in the ICU.
To date, 1,604 persons have been tested of which 1,452 are negative.
