Another COVID-19 death from Region One; total deaths now at 68
Guyana on Tuesday recorded yet another COVID-19 death; the latest victim is a 74-year-old woman from Region One.
She died at about 13:00h on Tuesday while receiving treatment at a medical facility. The Ministry of Health reported that the patient is the 68th COVID-19 related death.
This latest fatality was recorded 24hrs after two other elderly persons from Region One died. A 57-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man died within hours apart while also receiving treatment.

As of September 21, Guyana had 2, 402 confirmed cases of the virus. There are 860 persons in home isolation, 102 institutional quarantine and 16 persons in the COVID-19 ICU.
