Police are investigating an accident on the Foulis, East Coast Demerara (ECD) public road which claimed the life of a 28-year-old motorcyclist on Friday.
Dead is Travis Wickham, who resided at Bachelors Adventure, ECD; Police Headquarters in a statement noted that Wickham was proceeding east on the road at a fast rate when he lost control and crashed into a motor van and then a minibus. The accident occurred at around 09:05h.
Police said Wickham fell onto the road and received injuries to his head and body; he was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation where he was pronounced dead.
The drivers of the van and minibus are in police custody assisting with investigations.
