Corum Group Guyana on Friday officially opened its eighth Pizza Hut location at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA).
The newest outlet is located within the airport’s departure terminal.
“This location will cater to outgoing passengers alongside staff members at the CJIA,” Corum Group noted in a statement.
Managing Director of Corum Group, Clairmont Cummings, noted during brief remarks that, “the opening of Pizza Hut (CJIA) will provide travelers and airport staff with fast, convenient, and delicious food options. Our airport branch allows us to cater to hungry travelers who want great tasting food on the fly. We are honoured to provide this service.”
According to the statement, some 23 jobs were created as a result of the new location. Additionally, Corum Group is looking to open two other Pizza Hut restaurants later in the year
Meanwhile, the CJIA in a Facebook post welcomed the new restaurant at its location.
