South Africa pulled off a 16-run win to level the five-match T20 series against West Indies on Sunday in Grenada.
South Africa posted 166-7, built on 46 from Temba Bavuma and 42 from Reeza Hendricks, and West Indies responded with 150-9 with Andre Fletcher making 35 and Fabian Allen 34.
Inserted to bat first, South Africa got runs from skipper Bavuma and openers Hendricks and Quinton de Kock (26 off 20).
Left-arm seamer Obed McCoy took 3-25 and off-spinner Kevin Sinclair, who opened the bowling, bagged 2-23.
After a resounding eight-wicket win chasing a similar target in the first match on Saturday, West Indies were favourites to go 2-0, but they faced a competitive South African bowling attack.
Kagiso Rabada took 3-37 and George Linde, who removed Andre Russell and Nicholas Pooran, finished with 2-19 to earn the Man-of-the-Match award.
The third game of the five-match series is fixed for Tuesday at the same venue, starting at 14:00h.
