A number of technicians will be benefiting from ongoing training on the types, capabilities, and services offered through Dahua Technology, one of the largest security cameras manufacturers in the world, in an attempt to meet the security needs of Guyanese.
On Thursday, a group of technicians was able to engage Dahua Technology experts who travelled to Guyana to strengthen the relationship among the company, E-Networks, and the local technicians. E-Networks is the sole authorised distributor for Dahua Technology.
As the training commenced at the Cara Lodge, in Georgetown on Thursday, Marketing Consultant at E-Networks, Jennifer Cipriani related that the local company has been working along with more than 60 technicians who engage the customers on the security infrastructure that would be most applicable to them and their security needs.
It is for this reason, she explained, that E-Networks felt that it was important to engage these technicians and enhance their awareness of the products they are helping to market and the various capabilities that each product offers.
“We think the technicians have to be equipped to deliver the full functionality of the products that we offer,” Cipriani said.
This, she said further, allows for a better alignment between the needs of the customers and the products sold. On Thursday morning, as the first training session was held, a number of those technicians were made aware of the different product lines offered by Dahua Technologies. And, they were able to better understand how each of the various products would be more applicable to specific situations such as low-light conditions, situations that require facial recognition, among others.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dahua Technology for the Central America Operations, Peter Hu, underscored that supporting the local players has been a keen focus of the company. As such, he said that such training is necessary to apprise the technicians of the company’s products and services.
Importantly, Hu also said that even though Dahua Technology only entered the local market last year, he is already encouraged and has been considering further investments.
“E-Networks gave me confidence in this country… and we see the potential to go further,” he said.
Overall, Hu said that the company aims to achieve its mission of making Guyanese feel much safer.
These Dahua Technology security products are sold at the E-Networks location at the MovieTowne Mall at Turkeyen, Georgetown.
