Police are on the hunt for a lone gunman who robbed a 43-year-old Albion, Corentyne, Berbice, woman of $18.5 million in cash on Monday in front of Republic Bank at Independence Avenue, Rose Hall.
Police, in a report, noted that Nalini Mangali and a 24-year-old female office clerk, identified as Malina Sukhoo, had just pulled up in front the bank in their vehicle to deposit the money when the bandit attacked them at around 10:15hrs.
