102 persons tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard issued on Wednesday.
With these new cases, COVID infections recorded in Guyana since March 2020 have increased to 69,948.
The new cases were recorded after 724 tests were conducted with cases confirmed in Region Three (seven cases), Region Four (65 cases), Region Six (16 cases), Region Seven (ten cases) and Region Nine (four case).
Meanwhile, there is one patient in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 23 patients are in institutional isolation and 513 patients are in home isolation.
To date, 68,140 people have recovered.
