The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) on Tuesday morning announced that the scheduled Drag race meet, dubbed Drag Wars 2.0, billed for Sunday June 4 has been cancelled.
A decision was made at a meeting on Monday night to call off the one-day activity, mainly due to the current inclement weather pattern and the forecast for the weekend in the vicinity of the South Dakota Circuit.
In a brief notice, the GMR&SC expressed apologies for the inconvenience that the cancellation may have caused.
