Police are on the hunt for a suspect in a fatal stabbing incident on Saturday night in East Canje Berbice.
The News Room understands that the victim has been identified as Shawn Persaud called ‘Buckman’ of Adelphi Village, East Canje.
Regional Commander, Shivpersaud Bacchus confirmed the incident and noted than an investigation has since been launched.
The News Room was told that the suspect is known as ‘Lion’. It is alleged that the two men were involved in an argument when the incident occurred.
