Huey Anthony Corlette, a 26-year-old labourer of Charity, Essequibo Coast, was placed on $200,000 bail after he was charged with the offence of simple larceny.
According to Police Headquarters, Corlette stole from Ronaldo O’Neil, a 31-year-old man from Mabaruma, Region One, on Monday.
The case was heard on Thursday last at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court, before Magistrate Esther Sam.
Corlette pleaded not guilty, after which bail was granted.
The case was adjourned to March 1 at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court for disclosure of statements.
