Police Headquarters reported Thursday that the body of an unidentified man was found in a drain in ‘D’ Field Sophia.
According to a Police report, the body was found at about 14:15 hrs Wednesday.
The victim is a male of East Indian descent. Preliminary investigations revealed no visible signs of violence,
Police said the body was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where the man was pronounced dead. The body was later taken to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, pending identification and a post-mortem examination.
