Garfield Sobers U-19 cricket: Ramdeholl and Prince bowl Top Level to victory over Grantley Adams School

Top Level Cricket Academy continued their impressive campaign in the Sir Garfield Sobers International Under-19 Tournament in Barbados, cruising to a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Grantley Adams School in a low-scoring third-round encounter on Thursday.
In a clinical bowling display, Top Level relied on just two bowlers to dismantle Grantley Adams of Barbados for a paltry 45 in 15.1 overs.
National youth off-spinner Richard Ramdeholl produced a devastating spell, claiming 6-16 from 7.1 overs to rip through the middle and lower order.
Fast bowler Shane Prince provided excellent support at the other end, returning figures of 4-29 from eight overs as the pair shared all 10 wickets.
Grantley Adams skipper Isac Davis was the lone batter to reach double figures, scoring 10 as the rest of the batting line-up struggled to cope with the disciplined bowling of Ramdeholl and Prince.

Chasing a modest target of 46, Top Level suffered a few early setbacks, losing Kishawn Silas (2), Balashankar Narine (0) and Ramdeholl (2) cheaply. However, opener Shahid Ramzan anchored the chase with an unbeaten 30 from just 19 deliveries.
The in-form left-hander struck five boundaries in a confident knock and fittingly sealed the victory with consecutive fours.
Captain Mickel Sharma remained unbeaten on four at the other end as Top Level reached the target for the loss of three wickets in a mere 6.5 overs. Jucario Sealy claimed all three wickets for Grantley Adams.
The win was Top Level’s second in three matches in the tournament. They opened their campaign with a 15-run defeat to Presentation College of Trinidad and Tobago before bouncing back with a commanding 76-run victory over Combermere of Barbados.
Thursday’s success continued that momentum and strengthened their position in the competition.
