Another E-Networks Office robbed
For the second time in less than 24 hours, bandits attacked another E-Networks office, this time in Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara.
Police said that at about 11:45 hours today, two identifiable males armed with handguns entered the E-Networks office and robbed the two cashiers and seven customers of their valuables after which they fled the scene, in a motorcar.
The bandits, before relieving the victims of their belongings, ordered them to lie on the floor and then bound their hands with plastic cuffs.
Ranks have processed the scene and are making diligent efforts to apprehend the suspects whose modus operandi is likened to that of yesterday’s robbery at the Company’s chain store at Mon Repos Mall, East Coast Demerara.
The first attack occurred on Wednesday at the company’s Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara office, where the suspects carted off several items, inclusive of a Digital Video Recorder (DVR).
Two male suspects, one armed with a handgun, entered the Mon Repos store on Wednesday, and robbed five persons inclusive of two sales representatives, of their cash and electronic gadgets at approximately 15:00 hrs. No one was injured during the ordeal and the bandits then fled in a waiting motorcar.
