The Ministry of Health on Friday reported that a 56-year-old man from Region One died of COVID-19, taking the country’s death toll to 133 and the seventh for this month thus far.
The Ministry in a statement said the man died while receiving care at a medical facility.
The Ministry also officially confirmed the death of 74-year-old Estella Williams. The woman of Moblissa, Region Ten died next to her daughter at the Wismar Hospital on Thursday, hours after she was hospitalised, while 11 family members, including her two-year-old grandchild, tested positive for the virus.
