Senior Magistrate, Fabayo Azore on Friday remanded a 41-year-old minibus driver to prison for allegedly raping a 14-year-old school girl.
Sherwayne Brandt was not required to plea to the charge which alleged that on October 7, 2015, at Sophia, he engaged in sexual activity with the 14-year-old girl.
He was remanded to prison until November 16.
In September, 28-year-old minibus conductor, Asahel Williams was charged with the same offence and was released on $300,000 bail.
According to reports, the teen was a lone passenger in the Route 40 minibus, which was driven by Brandt and conducted by Williams.
It is alleged that the duo took turns in raping the teenager, who subsequently confided in her parents.
