Women among 31 arrested during operation ‘Restore Order’
The Guyana Police Force on Sunday morning conducted a number of raids at Kaneville and Diamond on the East Bank of Demerara and at Westminster and La Grange on the West Bank Demerara, which resulted in the discovery of a number of stolen items.
Police Headquarters noted that operation ‘Restore Order’ also resulted in the arrest of 31 persons including three women for various offences including possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, robbery under arms, unlawful possession and wounding.
The operation included more than 190 ranks.

1)Two flat screen televisions

3) A Technical Pro music box
4) A motorola handset
5) Fifteen cellular phones
6) A Technical Pro 1200 watts amplifier
7) Two video cameras
8) A Toshiba laptop
9) Two car rear view mirrors
10) A vehicle headlight
11) A desktop computer monitor
12) One thousand five hundred grams of cannabis
12) A tablet
13) A toy gun
14) Two digital scales and
15) $207,740 cash Guyana currency.
