A 26-year-old wash bay attendant was on Monday charged for allegedly stealing 170 pounds of chicken from the popular Mandela BBQ eatery ‘Grill Kings.’
Omalo Dick of ‘A’ Field Sophia, Greater Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where he denied the simple larceny charge.
It is alleged that on June 22, 2019, at Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, Dick stole 170 pounds of chicken valued $51,680 property of Rawle Burkett.
The unrepresented man was released on $10,000 bail; Dick will return to court on July 17, 2019.
