A 22-year-old man was shot dead Tuesday afternoon following reports that he and another man robbed a woman of her handbag in William Street, Campbellville, Georgetown.
Randy Bowen’s body was identified at the scene by his father. The details surrounding the incident are still sketchy at this time but initial reports indicate that Bowen and an accomplice robbed a woman and were running away when they were shot by a resident of the area.
The Police and EMTs subsequently arrived at the scene.
