Police headquarters on Tuesday morning said that a miner working in Region Eight is being flown to the city after he showed up at the Mahdia Hospital complaining of feeling unwell.
The man, 60, showed up at the hospital just before midnight Monday.
Police said he was examined by the doctor at the hospital and he was admitted as a suspected case for the new coronavirus since he was coughing continuously and had difficulty breathing.
The man is presently awaiting medevac to the city.
