A gold miner of Baramita, North West District, was stabbed to death, allegedly by his reputed wife, Police Headquarters reported on Wednesday.
The dead man has been identified as 35-year-old Dameon George. The incident occurred sometime between 5:00hrs and 7:45hrs on Wednesday.
Police said that the victim was found lying motionless and was taken to the Baramita Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead at about 09:30 hrs.
He sustained a stab wound to his ear.
His reputed wife was arrested and is assisting police with investigations.
