A mother of one who resided at Lima Sands along the Essequibo Coast was tragically killed on Friday at the hands of her husband.
Dead is Christine Boston.
She was reportedly killed by a police sergeant Roure Francis called “Bean”. He was attached to the Anna Regina Police Station.
It is reported that he took her to a nearby rice field and ran her over with his car after which he attempted suicide.
Francis is critically hospitalised after he reportedly attempted suicide.
