Driver shot as Cevons robbed by two men

A driver employed by Cevons Waste Management was shot on Saturday during a robbery executed by two masked men.

Injured is Berthony Cadeau, a 33-year-old driver.

Police Headquarters reported that Ruth Chase, another employee, was in the company’s office paying salaries to other employees when two masked men entered the building. One man drew a firearm from his waist and discharged two rounds; one hit Cadeau.

The suspects then relieved Chase of one cell phone without a sim valued at $200,000 and an undisclosed amount of cash, property of Cevons Waste Management.

The suspects then exited the building and escaped on a black motorcycle.

This matter was reported to the Police and the scene visited and processed. Ranks recovered two .32 spent shells and a warhead. The shells and warhead were marked, sealed and lodged at the Police Station.

Cadeau was escorted to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for medical attention. He is in a stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.

    The days of the employed being paid that way , is long gone . And it is only a stupid employer that is continuing with this practice.
    Common sense should tell him that he is in sighting this to happen because workers come and go and people change and have friends from all walk of life so at 99.9 percent these crimes stems from inside information or by disgruntled employees
