Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 37-year-old Paulette Wade, who was found dead in her home at Kwakwani, Region Ten, this morning.
News Room was reliably informed that Wade, who worked as a midwife at the Kwakwani Hospital, was discovered motionless on the floor of the house by her 7-year-old daughter, who subsequently ran and informed the staff at the hospital.
Police sources said that there was no sign of forced entry to the house and they are investigating Wade’s medical history to ascertain whether she suffered from epilepsy.
Police also noted that no marks of violence were observed on the body.
News Room understands that Wade’s husband is currently on a work trip at an interior location.
Wade was described as a pleasant person, who was very active in the church. She leaves to mourn her daughter and 3-year-old son.
