The police in ‘A’ Division are investigating a shooting incident where three persons escaped death or injury just before midnight on Sunday.
Twenty-five-year old Patrick Dundas, a baker from Rasville; 18-year-old Jewel Conway, a student from West Ruimveldt and 35-year-old Kevin Edwards, also a baker from East Ruimveldt, Georgetown all went to take a walk on the seawalls Sunday night.
When they returned to their vehicle, Conway sat in the front passenger seat while Dundas was in the driver’s seat and Edwards sat in the back seat of PLL 9358 when two identifiable males, showed up at the vehicle.
They two were identified as 25-year-old Aubrey Bobb of Kitty, Georgetown and his brother Quamie. News Room understands that Bobb, who spent some time in jail, had shared a relationship with Conway; however during his time in jail, the young lady severed relations and started another relationship with Dundas.
It is alleged that Aubrey drew a gun from his pants waist and discharged a round at the car which shattered the left back window. By that time, his brother attempted to make his way around to the driver’s side of the car with a cutlass in hand.
However, Dundas managed to quickly put the vehicle in drive and sped off from the location. No one was injured, however the News Room understands that the trio, especially Conway, is traumatized. A police report was made and ranks are in search of the two suspects.
