A 28-year-old driver has been suspended from driving for the next twelve months after he appeared in court for the second time for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The repeat offender, Ishwar Singh, a goldsmith of 116 West Indian Housing Scheme, Bartica was first fined $7, 500 on February 02, 2017 and his Driver’s Licence was endorsed.
However, he was again found driving under the influence of alcohol on September 17, 2017.
He pleaded not guilty on the day of the incident but pleaded guilty Wednesday when he appeared before Her worship, Christel Lambert in Bartica. Therefore he was suspended from driving for one year.
