A 31-year-old Labourer of Cane Grove, East Coast Demerara has been charged and remanded to prison for the illegal possession of 14 grams of cocaine and 134 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
News Room understands that Leon Hussain pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to prison until February 16, 2018.
According to reports reaching News Room, police in ‘C’ Division conducted a search at Hussain’s Cane Grove house when they found the illegal substances in a basket on January 18, 2018.
