The birds, Singh said, are worth $1.5M. He is offering a reward of $100,000 cash for any credible information that would lead to the arrest of the bandit.

The man’s security camera caught a lone bandit breaking into his house at Austin Street, Campbellville, Georgetown and removing the birds between 01:30h and 02:40h Saturday.

“That’s the time he spent taking out each one of them, up and down,” Singh told the News Room.
Singh explained that he lives in the upper flat with his family and have tenants in the lower flat; the birds are stored in storeroom in the lower flat.

“Normally every other day I does get bird rounds where you go and buy seeds and take your bird out so at 6 this morning when I went to collect two of them, everything was gone,” Singh said.

A report was made to the Kitty Police Station.
