The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has a total of 503 ballot boxes that remain to be counted.
At the end of Monday, GECOM completed the recount of 97 ballot boxes, bringing the overall total to 1,836.
With the completion of seven regions, the recount is ongoing for Regions 4, 6 and 10.
On Monday, completed 36 boxes for Region Four, 33 for Region Six, 26 for Region Ten.
GECOM tabulated 1,780 of the Statements of Recount for General Elections thus far and 1,776 for Regional.
