South Ruimveldt businessman dies after shot by bandits on Sept. 2

South Ruimveldt, Georgetown businessman Lennox Robinson, who was hospitalised since he was shot by bandits on September 02, has died.

Robinson, 70, of 55 South Ruimveldt Park, was shot at his business place at Drysdale & Lambert Street by two men who the Police have been unable to identify.

He was hospitalized at the Georgetown public hospital, in the Intensive Care Unit, and never regained consciousness, Police stated.

Robinson was sitting outside of Robinsons General Store, which he owned, at about noon on the day in question, when the two men pounced on him.

Mr Robinson engaged in a scuffled with the men and they relieved him of his firearam and shot him to the abdomen.

    What a hurtful nasty crime. Mr. Robinson never hurt a soul.
