Police in Bartica have arrested three men following a raid of the Morocco Hotel at First Avenue, Bartica, which uncovered a total of 560 grams of cannabis.
The raid was conducted on Tuesday at around 17:30 hrs.
Police Headquarters in a report noted that a party of policemen ventured to the hotel and conducted a search of the suspects, which revealed four small Ziploc bags containing a quantity of cannabis.
A further search was conducted in the room they were in at the time and a bulky transparent parcel along with 21 small transparent parcels, all containing a quantity of leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis were also discovered.
The trio deferred ownership of the cannabis to each other and were taken into police custody, pending charges.
