A sitting of the National Assembly has been called for next Thursday, June 10, according to a notice paper sent out by the Parliament office.
The sitting is expected to be a Private Members sitting. There are several questions from the opposition that have been tabled.
These include: questions about employees on contract at the Ministry of Housing and Water; the distribution of the COVID-19 cash grant; the allocation of house lots prior to August 2, 2020; infrastructural development and buildings, the formation of the Police’s Corporate Communications Unit; whether a feasibility study was done for the road linkage from Diamond to Ogle; and the Guyana Online Learning Academy.
