Junior Cedric Dey, who is also known as ‘Trini’, is wanted for questioning by the Guyana Police Force (GPF) as investigators continue their probe into the early-morning fire that claimed the lives of three young children.
The man’s last known address, according to information provided on the Police Force’s Facebook page, is Sophia, Georgetown. He also, reportedly, speaks with a Trinidadian accent.
Members of the public are asked to contact the nearest police station if they see Dey.
The Guyana Fire Service received reports of the fire at around 01:25 hrs on Thursday. The three siblings – aged eight, six and one – were trapped inside the burning wooden structure.
The children’s mother Tracy Flur, who was at work at the time of the incident, has alleged that her abusive ex-boyfriend started the fire.
