The motorcyclist who died in an accident on Sunday evening at Palmyra, Region Six has been identified as 43-year-old Aubrey Sears, a father of three.

The News Room confirmed that a police officer was driving the motorcar (PPP 2020) that was involved in the accident.

Police sources disclosed that the accident occurred at about 19:00hrs at the eastern entrance to the Berbice River Bridge.

The police officer who was driving the car claimed that Sears was “looking back” while riding and rode into the path of his car.

But according to the mother of the dead man’s children, Trisha McClure, there are reports which indicate that the cop lost control of his car and collided with Sears.
